Parent Testimonials

Elephant Learning has helped over a hundred thousand students and parents are happy to share success.

Just have to shout out this girl! Since January we have been working on math since January. She has struggled for years with confidence in this area and now it is her favorite subject. She has gone from a 8.7 to 11.5 year old level on Elephant Learning. Her actual age is 11.3 so now she is above what she should know at her age. So proud of this girl! 3 times a week (sometimes more because she wants to) for 15 minutes per day. They recommend 10 but she wanted 15. They say you can learn a year of math in 3 months and we are proof that yes you can! I get no kickbacks or anything. I am not affiliated with Elephant Learning BUT I know it is working for Riley so wanted to share! We were so frustrated and needed something and this was the perfect fit for us. It may be for you too!

For anyone wondering, we used this program, and it outperformed its promise! Our experience: Our son struggled with math and as a 12-year- old, tested at a 95-year-old level of understanding. After using elephant math, it filled in difficult gaps, created a language of understanding, and in 6 months of use, he grew 3.5 years in understanding concepts, ending his time of use at a 13-year-old's level. And he has not forgotten what he learned. I would recommend this program to anyone thinking of trying it. All I can say is it worked for us. Also, I do not work for Elephant Math, I have never worked for them, and no one asked me to share my opinion. Just in case anyone wonders. This is a freely offered statement because we had such a good experience!

Yudith Iturbide Edralin recommends Elephant Learning. Elephant Learning is a great app. My daughter did not like to do math. She would give me a hard time and would cry most of the time. Since we started this program she now has a fantastic attitude. She is more confident to the point she will say mom I got this. I am truly grateful to Dr. Aditya Ngrath and the staff. When ever I need help or have questions, everyone is quick to respond. I have recommended this app to all my friends and family.

Yvonne Lozoya: The support team for this app are great. I didn't budget correctly last month and didn't have money in my account to pay for the subscription. They contacted me, I explained the situation, and they extended my sons profile he could still access the app until my next payday. My son is in kinder and enjoys using the app. I know some people complain about the robotic nature ofthe voices but my son actually loves them and how they call him by name. His confidence is improving because he sees his progress age going up. Starting Elephant Age: 3.6. Current Elephant Age: 7.4.

Wilhelmina Beckman: I have 6 kids, this has helped all of them. After we used the program for 6 months, my son who had an IEP for math had enough confidence to request to be reevaluated. Through his testing he was able to demonstrate that his math understanding and skills have improved so much that he no longer needs any IEP services, and he is even above grade level in some areas!!

Wendy Spangenburg Smith: We have been using this program for a little more than a month now and are very pleased. My kids are homeschooled, ages 10 and 12. Math has been a difficult subject for us. At first I thought there might be some learning issues but with some curriculum changes and this program I realize there's not. The program uses academic age and they started out at 7.6 and 9.8. Now after a month they are up to, 9.1 and 10.8. The kids like using it because its short, 10 minutes a day and because its more like playing games. They use it anywhere from 3 to 5 days a week. As a parent I like it for a couple of reasons.. one its working, another I can easily monitor their progress. It doesn't replace their math program but its great supplement to teach, reinforce, and build confidence in their math skills. Thank you Elephant Learning! Elephant Learning: Wendy, we would be honored if you would leave this as a review on our facebook page here: https://facebook.com/elephantlearningapp/reviews -- the reason why is because we have noticed that sometimes when we change campaigns or create new ads, all comments are lost. Thank you so much for sharing this story, it is absolutely wonderful and we are so proud of your children's achievements.

Vera Miller recommends Elephant Learning. I have tried so many programs. Finally, this is the program that my son has needed for years. He started in late October at 9.0 Elephant age and now 2 months later he is at 10.5. I can't wait to see how he will end school in May. I only have hope math will get easier for him.

Your kid plays a series of games that make fundamental math concepts concrete. For example, there might be an array of animals, with some circled and they'll have to pick out 1/3. Then, in another game, they'll see a series of pie charts and have to pick 1/3. Or have to select 1 in 3 circles in a group. My children went from not-quite-getting math to finding it extremely intuitive and a little boring because they already understood what they were supposed to do. In addition to the math games that your kid does, you get a report showing where they are struggling that has ideas about games you can play to strengthen these areas. Things like getting 10 sided dice to practice multiplication. I could only get my kids to practice for about a year, but it got both of them over that critical fourth grade hump. I highly recommend the program.

Tristen Fedder reviewed Elephant Learning: five stars. My stepdaughter failed 5th grade math, she was almost 2 full years behind where she should be. Within 2 months, we caught her up to learning what she SHOULD have been learning this year! My son is a math addict, and he's now 2 full years ahead of where he should be and he's excelling. The benchmarks and knowing how many questions they get right and wrong have been SO helpful. Even their teachers are impressed.

I decided to give this app a try after using so many others and getting no where. Well in just 2 months she is confident, happy and sliding into 5Th grade math. I must say thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Best app ever! Now if only you had one for the other subjects....I began homeschooling this year. LOL

Trinity Chapman: Hi, my daughter isn't on the spectrum but does have audio and visual processing issues and was wayyy behind on math. We have used tutors, extra math class at school (which they graduated her out of and I thought she was caught up then, but testing revealed otherwise!) and bought videos, workbhooks, al kinds of things to try to help her. Elephant Learning is the best thing ever for her! She's learned 2 years of math in 7 months and is on grade level now. I know it's different for everyone, but this app is really worth a try!

Thank you, Stella! Elephant Learing was a great experience for us! Your platform definitely did what you promised! It empowered our son, caused him to grow and gain confidence, and served us well. We were behind in math concepts when he started using Elephant Learning, and your platform filled in the gaps and grew his understanding exponentially-- and in a very short time frame! He grew from Elephant age 9.5 to 13 in 6 months of use! I just want to reiterate in writing what I mentioned on the phone: The only reason we are canceling our subscription is that he hasn't used it in months and we need to free up financial resources everywhere we can. Thank you again! I will definitely pass along our positive experience whenever I can! Have a great weekend, Tracie

For anyone wondering, we used this program, and it outperformed its promise! Our experience: Our son struggled with math and as a 12 year old, tested at a 9.5 year old level of understanding. After using elephant math, it filled in difficult gaps, created a language of understanding, and in 6 months of use, he grew 35 years in understanding concepts, ending his time of use at a 13 year-old's level.

Sorry, been hectic here. He enjoyed using the program, so some days he would do 40-45 mins, but then forget to use it the next week at all. That's why I averaged it to be about 30 mins typically in a week. Some days he'd do 20-25 mins, then nothing the rest of the week. He was very sporadic. I wish I could go back and check. We started in spring, he took off for the summer, started back up late Sept, and he was done using it by Christmas break. So it was about 3 months, summer, then about 3 months. All I can say is what our experience was, ya know? Our son usually grasps things quickly, but was behind in math concepts due to life events. And this really helped him!

He was sporadic with his time using the program. He preferred 30 min segments in one day and then be done for the week (not suggesting that is better, it's just what worked for him). He didn't like using it for only 10 mins. But it was rare for him to use it more than 1 day a week, and some weeks he didn't use it all. So I'd say the average was likely 30 mins or less a week. I'd love to go back and actually calculate the amount of time that he used it and the growth that happened, but we recently canceled our subscription. (Nothing wrong with the company, we were just trying to tighten up our outgoing expenses, and he hadn't really used it this last school year.)

My daughter, who has finally received an official diagnosis for ADHD really thrives using this app. Just seeing her improvement in the last week of using the app has really left this momma speechless. The games are so much fun. $35 a month really is worth it for us because I see the difference it is making for her.

Tiana Kylene: We are almost 2 weeks in. We use it daily as brain work since math is a struggle. Yes she still gets frustrated but she doesn't get mad. She will ask questions, she will keep trying. This alone is a win. She calls it fun! The set up is user friendly for both the learner and the parent or teacher. It is highly interactive and engaging. It's repetitive enough to help learn but skips around enough to keep the attention of the person working. My only regret is not starting it last year when I came across it.

Tasha Ramos: my stepson has been doing it since end of May and has improved quite a bit. According to their scale he has improved by 8 months. It is noticeable when I sit with him while he does it. (The system also shows every thing they do and how they answered and let's you do the problems too so you can best help them) Nichelle Kameka: my son has been doing it since beginning of June. Tammy Olsen McCarthy: As a teacher, I have found that the "games" and apps with all the graphics etc do not produce the results that this does. Sometimes kids just have to deal with the fact that simple is truly more effective. My daughter is almost 12. She got over it's non gaming style once she realized how much it was helping her.

Tammy Olsen McCarthy: I thought so at first too. It's all about perspective though. I have been desperate to find something that truly makes a difference. I am a teacher and math is my strength but my daughter has always fought allowing me to help her with anything. I also play the piano. She wanted to learn but again I paid for lessons because she just plain wouldn't let me show her anything. Anyway, I sat next to my daughter (who has been VERY behind in math) to watch and determine how worth it I think this is while it is. She is gaining the deep understanding of concepts are approached. This is the best tutor out there! And it is insanely cheap if you look at actual tutoring programs. The tutoring programs do not necessarily teach students the deeper concepts. Sometimes they just learn how to work certain problems. Yep grades and test scores can improve but only by so much because the concepts can't be applied as they have only learned how to solve problems presented in certain ways. I'd rather my daughter understands and can then apply. This is doing that for her. I HIGHLY recommend this! And I never usually put my 2 cents in.

Tammy Olsen McCarthy: I would absolutely take the advice from the Elephant Learning people. They know what they are doing and talking about. Since you've asked my opinion... It sounds like she is already ahead. Having taught 3K-6th grade over the last 21 years (3k-5K multi-age setting for the last 9) I recommend slowing down and not pushing. Moving forward is fine and beneficial when a child is interested. However, she may be building a barrier and developing anxiety toward math that will become harder and harder to overcome. Since she is already ahead, maybe try to find ways to enjoy math and work on breaking down that wal. I'm sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear. It's just my humble opinion.

I know this because she has been able to apply her understandings when solving problems presented a little differently than seen before. Plus she has also been able to see connections between math concepts/skills. I can not say enough Elephant Learning! Asada Kimbo: my daughter was 6 when I got her started on it but the friend that recommended it had her son starting at 4 and they are understanding the concepts so well! I seriously recommend it! They do it every day for 20 mins and that's it! If you don't like it you can always cancel it. I use elephant learning in conjunction with math books I order on amazon as well and I find that the combination helps because what my daughter doesn't understand in the books she then picks up the understanding from elephant learning.

Sue Fiore recommends Elephant Learning. Math has been a huge struggle with my ASD son. He was avoiding it at all costs. I have tried everything with no success. Since starting Elephant learning he wants to do math and only math. And he spends way more than the recommended time on it...by choice. I love that there aren't many "lessons". He gets lost in lessons as he has attention issues. I'm sitting with him through all of it. And the way it's set up, he's being forced to THINK and figure it out on his own. This is working! This system is brilliant. The parent dashboard is amazing as well. Very user friendly! Great job Elephant learning Dev team!!! So glad I came across this!!!! Thank you!!!!

Sue Dowdy: I got it for my 3 grandchildren approximately 6 weeks ago. It costs $35 a month for a maximum of 3 kids. All 3 have improved their math skills. The 61/2 year old was at 6.1 when he started and he is now 8.5. The other 2 have also improved but not quite as much. Emma Pamley-Liddell: According to who has he improved? Umm Awwab: exactly my question. If you're trusting the for-profit company to tell you whether or not your child has made progress....yeah. Not knocking you Sue Dowdy just thinking an independent evaluation would be necessary. Crystal Jade Sadger: It's not hard as a parent to evaluate your own childs improvement Sue Dowdy: Too soon to tell yet from school but at this point in time I believe it's a good program. Sometimes I watch him on it and I am impressed. I figure for $35/month for 3 kids it is worth a try and I can always cancel it whenever I want. I can assure you they are learning more on Elephant Learning than they are on stupid video games. Some folks wanted a little information and that is my experience and my opinion. Thank you.

She skipped preschool so EL is definitely giving her a nice run through to prepare her for Kindergarten. I've tried and tried to teach her things myself and she catches on for the most part, but doesn't retain it well. When you figure out what way your child learns the best things get easier. Mine is a visual learner and games really help her. I believe we've only been with EL for a couple months and she does it an hour a day every weekday... She's gone form 3 year old level math to 4.7 year old putting her right on track! We'll continue to use EL at least until she starts school in the fall.

Ok, I had my doubts. Come on here common sense trying to take over, but the facts speak for their self. I have two grandsons who are behind. One has visual problems that he has been in eye therapy for for the last two years. I can honestly say it does work. How? I don't know, but it does. The children see there progress on the line graph along with their beginning score and their current score. They both want to share their levels with me and ask to get on the program. I'm not saying it is a math program that replaces all other programs, but will say it works and helps lay a good foundation. Apply for the scholarship and save. I have no affiliation with this program or anyone who works there.

Instead of focusing on things like memorizing facts the program guides children to think beyond the question, analyze therefore creating number sense and comprehension. Shelly Thomas: I am the grandmother with an almost 8 year old that tends to want to argue. Get frustrated, very lazy with lessons too...just wants to get done and move on to anything fun...not school. We just started, and I'm amazed at the change in attitude! He wants to do it longer than the slotted time. It does limit them to 20 minutes a day. Took me/us a day or so to get used to using the program. More detailed directions for me would have been helpful, but it is worth it to us! I highly recommend giving it a try...for your sake, and the child's life...everyone uses math daily. I wish they had one for reading. Heck I wish they had an entire school program!

Shawn Lisa Weston: Wow! My son has been behind in math for a couple years no matter how much we help. With schools now closed we are really having trouble. I signed him up for Elephant Learning to see what it could do. He enjoys it so there is no screaming and crying and trying to avoid the work. The assessment placed him at 1.5 years behind. After a few days of working, and receiving daily progress emails, I received an email saying he was struggling still and it had suggestions. I reset his age, one of the suggestions, to show him at his skill level age. He is doing better and I do believe it is working. The communication and tips from this program are very interactive and really help you help your child! I can't wait to see how it progresses!

Selina Wallis recommends Elephant Learning. so impressed with this programme. my son has always struggled with maths. since we are in lockdown I thought it was worth a try while we were at home. he has adhd and autism but loves games. he was assessed at entry as 2 years behind his chronological age and in less than a month he is now up to age related expectations. I can see the conceptual progress he has made and also his increased confidence. thank you!

Sarah Dyas: It's worked for me and $10 a month is more than justifiable if it works for my kids. Nicole Day: I assure you the $10 is justifiable. We are on day 2 and my son has already goes from an elephant age of 9.8 to 10.3 and his actual age is only 9.3 ... he learned things I've been trying to teach him for the past 3 weeks with 40 minutes of playtime.

Sarah Schlenz Henderson: Any information about how kids with autism do on your program? Elephant Learning: We do not have that question on our form and so we are not measuring them separately. Math Matters is running a study on this. We have had parents come through and tell me they were having success. We teach math as a language and so all children benefit because all children have the capacity to learn language. Sarah Schlenz Hendreson: Awesome, thank you! Staci Winn Rocha: Sarah Schlenz Henderson, I was thinking the same. I have two kids with Autism that love to learn, but don't always thrive in a classroom. I'm trying this to keep them ahead, so they can take needed breaks in the classroom. Hopefully it works out. Selina Akhter: Staci Winn, please let me know how it goes for kids with autism Briana Mendoza: My son is high functioning (8yrs old) and he is doing well at 10 minutes a day. He would prefer to do all school work on his tablet if he could Robbie Morgan-Larson: I have two kids on different places on the spectrum using this. Both are doing well. Heather Cannon-Shelton: Sarah Schlenz Henderson I have an autistic 8 year old who is also cognitively 4y/o. He loves it and has made tremendous gains!

Saundra Contreras: My son is 8 1/2 and already at a 10 year old level. He was always bored and flying through math at school. He (and my others) is homeschooled now so he can fly through. My autistic son who is nearly 13 is at the 9 year old level and he was struggling in 7th grade. I love this program because they can't move on until they grasp the concepts.

It's not about a “rush” or hurry. It's about how efficient it is. As someone whose kids had holes in understanding from before, and then definitely suffered from a lack of support after the pandemic hit (absolutely taking responsibility for that, by the way), we needed something to find the gaps and help understanding to get caught up. So far, this program just makes sense to my 13yo son, who has been struggling. Literally four days/60 minutes in, after starting at a 1st grade level, and he said “today we got to, multiplication and it actually makes sense!” In 3rd grade he decided not to bother learning that skill, which is obviously an important foundation. But EL is helping start at ground level and something about the process gets through. I only hope it keeps working...

Sandy Fulton: I have only seen frustration once with my seven year old and that was when he wasn't listening carefully. Once he started really listening he was fine. If she has gotten in the habit of not listening because she doesn't think she can do math, she may get frustrated. Maybe monitor her first few sessions so she can get in the habit of listening when hearing math stuff.
